In the Mandala Way

In the Mandala Way

‘Mandala’ is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘circle,’ representing wholeness, eternity, and balance in oneself and within the universe. Its ancient geometric shape is used in meditation and to create sacred spaces.

A blog about building a boutique based on the mandala’s sacred geometry that is as old as old can be, but as relevant as anything should be. We connect makers and artists from around the world who imbue their work with intention and have been brought together in this small — sometimes frigid — corner of the Universe.

“The mandala is an archetypal image whose occurrence is attested throughout the ages. It signifies the wholeness of the Self. This circular image represents the wholeness of the psychic ground or, to put it in mythic terms, the divinity incarnate in man.” Carl Jung
